long. The fruit of Chandrashoor is flattened to 4 mm
in diameter. Each fruit contains 1or 2, small, reddish seeds. Soaking
the haleem seeds in water makes them luscious. The cotyledon is white and the
cotyledon is smooth. Its flowering and fruiting period is from December to
April.
