कोई अंजान ब्यक्ति यदि भूखा है यदि कह रहा है की "मै बुखा हूँ मुझे भोजन चाहिए" यदि मन में उपकार की भावना है तो जरूर उसे भोजन करा देंगे. यदि ये सोचेंगे की इसे भोजन करा के मुझे क्या मिलेगा तो वो उपकार करना या नहीं करना दोनों एक जैसा ही हो जायेगा भले उसको इस भावना से भोजन करा भी दिए तो ऐसा भावना लाना स्वयम के स्तर से और निचे गिरना होगा. यदि बगैर सोचे समझे यदि मन कह रहा है की इसे भोजन करा दे और स्वच्छ मन से प्रेम से उनको भोजन करा देते है तो बाद में उस भावना से अपने मन को टटोल कर देखे, उस भावाना से कही न कही किसी न किसी कोने कोई ख़ुशी जरूरछुपी दिखेगी. उस ख़ुशी में झांक कर देखिये वो वास्तविक ख़ुशी से बहूत ऊपर होगा. उस भाव में ख़ुशी के साथ एक उत्साह भी होगा. ऐसे उत्साह निस्वार्थ भाव के कर्म से ही मिलते है देश काल और पत्र के अनुसार जब सब संतुलित होता है तो जीवन में अतुलित ख़ुशी मिलता है. जीवन के ख़ुशी में संतुलन भोग विलाश से ज्यादा देय के भावना से होता है.
